It began with a video tweet, when Bollywood actor Rahul Bose was charged Rs. 442.50 for 2 bananas during his stay at JW Marriott, Chandigarh. Shortly, the tweet went viral on social media and the brands were quick to capitalize the situation. A lot of them came up with their witty interpretations of what their brand can offer in that same price. Some of the brands were OYO, Amazon, Ola, Manforce, Nature’s Basket and many more.

2. Xiaomi

The craze for Game of Thrones is something none of us is oblivious to. Premiered in April, there was a lot of buzz regarding it, more so as it was the final season of the series. What better time to strategise and to “choose your side”!
